Health and Safety
Health and Safety is fundamental to everything we do at Diverse. We are accredited member of leading industry standards such as Chas and Construction Line to ensure we continually maintain the highest standards.
Our experienced senior management team hold CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualifications, and make frequent site visits to all of our projects. Every project undertaken will have a Method Statement and Risk Assessment produced specific to the task at hand, that our teams will sign up and adhere to. We also hold regular Toolbox Talks on our projects, meaning all of our workforce are kept updated on both project specific and industry wide standards.
All of our teams contain a working supervisor that will hold the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) qualification, and all of our operatives maintain updated Asbestos Awareness Training alongside the relevant Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card. Due the nature of our works, we also have Face Fit Testing qualified personnel, as well as other applicable completed awareness training such as Abrasive Wheels, meaning we are able to provide perfectly trained team members specific to the task at hand.
As you would expect from some of the recently completed projects you will see on this web page, we pride ourselves in successfully setting and maintaining only the highest standards of quality. As a company we are motivated by the aim of realising our client’s expectations, so high quality workmanship is critical in achieving this. The below methods outline a few ways we monitor, maintain and test our works to accomplish this.
Adhere to NBS specifications
QITP (Quality Inspection Test Plan) – checklists for our installation teams to follow and sign off at each work stage created specifically to every project
Experienced Workforce – our highly experienced installers ensures competent, knowledgeable personnel
Regular Operative Training - maintains knowledge of all the latest manufacturer products and materials
High Quality Materials – we only use tried and tested industry leading products that comply to testing and packaging procedure regulations
Regular Site Visits - from all levels of our management team
Testing – upon completion of the curing process, we provide full testing of our installations to ensure we are compliant with industry regulations i.e. BRE Drop Hammer Testing.
We take the environmental impact of our works very seriously. This starts from the top, ensuring our management teams carefully measure and pre-plan the works to ensure we only send to site the correct quantities required for the job. This limits our levels of wastage and also reduces the number of deliveries required to be sent to our projects.
On site, we ensure our workforce understand the importance of separating waste correctly and recycle our generated waste where possible.
We also try to source materials to our projects from local suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint, and also ensure our suppliers themselves are doing their bit for the environment In-terms of responsible sourcing.
